Exec moves up to VP feature prod. Management

HOLLYWOOD — Paramount Pictures has promoted Sara Spring to senior VP, feature production management from her current VP slot, which she has held for four years.

Spring will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day physical production of feature films, guiding films from the budgeting process and scheduling through the completion of principal photography.

She’s currently working on “The Untitled 50 Cent Project,” “The Weather Man,” “Watchmen,” and “The Longest Yard.”

“Sara is an integral member of our department,” said Mark Bakshi, president of feature production management.

She’s served as a production exec since she started at Paramount in 1997 and has worked on “Mean Girls,” “The Italian Job” and “Alfie,” among others. Prior to joining Paramount, Spring worked as a freelance production manager.
