Trio helps Garner fill in Broken spots

Broken Road Prods., the production company of former Revolution Studios partner Todd Garner, is beefing up its ranks.

Ben Haber and Sean Robins have joined as senior development execs and Jayne Polousky has been promoted to creative exec.

“Ben and Sean are tremendously talented executives who have a great eye for projects,” Garner said.

Haber was formerly executive director of feature development at Gross Entertainment, where he developed and set up the untitled Julie Taymor Beatles musical, starring Evan Rachel Wood, at Revolution. Previously, Haber worked at Paramount.

Robins was formerly VP of production at Robert Lawrence Prods., where he helped develop “Gates of Fire” at Universal, as well as “Pet Peeves” and “Juarez” at Warner Bros. Previously, he worked at the Kaplan Stahler Gumer Agency.

Polousky was Garner’s assistant at Revolution and previously worked at Disney and CAA.

Garner, who stepped down from Revolution in May to set up an independent producing shingle, is an exec producer of Revolution’s “The Fog” and is producing the studio’s upcoming films “Zoom,” “Next” and “Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House.” Earlier this month, Universal acquired Broken Road’s untitled comedy from “American Pie” creator Adam Herz.
