MGM pacts with Corbis

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. and Corbis, a media services company, announced an agreement to leverage MGM’s world-renowned movie moments through Corbis.  

The deal grants Corbis the right to license MGM’s motion picture and still image library for editorial and commercial use on a global basis.

 Under the terms of the deal, Corbis’ advertising and editorial clients can license some of the most recognized moments in cinematic history from films such as the Rocky series, “The Pink Panther” series and the “James Bond” series, as well as MGM’s film library of more than 4,200 titles.
