Glover rises for Dark Moon

Sorenson to exec produce fright pic

Crispin Glover is toplining horror-thriller “Simon Says,” produced by Ernie Lively for fledgling Dark Moon Pictures. “Simon” will be directed by William Dear (“Angels in the Outfield”), who also scripted. Vern Sorenson is exec producing.

Pic deals with a group of beautiful teenagers who are isolated and killed off one by one.

In addition to Glover, who is playing a double role, the cast includes Margo Harshman, Kelly Vitz, Carrie Finklea, Artie Baxter and Greg Cipes. Shooting began earlier this month in Northern California.

Michael Paloma was previously attached to star and co-write the project.
