Shingle's current Par slate includes 'Armored'

Fox has signed Penn Station Entertainment, headed by Michael Aguilar and Dean Georgaris, to a three-year first-look deal.

Georgaris wrote the screenplays for “Paycheck,” “The Manchurian Candidate” and the upcoming “Tristan and Isolde,” produced by Ridley Scott. Fox is releasing “Tristan” in February.

Aguilar exec produced “Constantine” and was producer on the Disney comedy “Out Cold.” He’s producing the Warner Bros. comedy “Unaccompanied Minors” and the comedy “Wedding the Winterbottoms.”

The duo set up their banner two years ago at Paramount and chose the Penn Station moniker in recognition of their origins: Georgaris is from New York and Aguilar from New Jersey.

Penn Station’s Paramount slate includes “Armored,” penned by Andrew Kevin Walker and based on French thriller “Le Convoyeur”; sci-fier “Area 51,” scripted by Georgaris; a remake of George Romero’s “The Crazies,” adapted by Scott Kosar; and “Aleister Arcane,” adapted from the Steve Niles comicbook.
