Indie producer Charles T. Daniels is set to make his directorial debut with real-life mob drama “Unspoken Vows,” part of a three-pic deal inked between his shingle PWBMG Prods. and Fantastic Films Intl.
“Vows,” from a screenplay by Daniels and starring Peter Facinelli, tells the story of how Daniels was befriended as a boy in the 1950s by Staten Island Mafia hit man Vinny G.
Fantastic Films is co-financing the pic, which has a budget under $10 million, and will rep overseas rights. “Vow,” skedded to begin shooting in January, doesn’t yet have a U.S. distrib.
Producers are Daniels and Reuben & Co.’s Buckley Norris. Fantastic Films’ Roxane Barbat and Fred DeWykowski are exec producers, along with Jay Cousins.
Facinelli appears in the upcoming “The Lather Effect” and “Hollow Man 2.”
