Event will also celebrate 15th anni of Simmons' 'Jam'

Garry Shandling and Jeffrey Tambor will be on hand as HBO and the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival salute “The Larry Sanders Show” at fest’s 12th annual celebration, running March 8-12 in Aspen, Colo.

Garrison Keillor and his radio series “A Prairie Home Companion” will also be honored. Keillor began working on the public radio show in 1969. He recently penned the bigscreen version of “Prairie,” which Robert Altman directed. Pic, set to bow June 9, will receive an early screening at the fest.

Festival also will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Russell Simmons’ “Def Comedy Jam.” Exec producers Stan Lathan, Sandy Wernick and Simmons and skein’s stars will reunite to discuss the show’s impact on comedy and hip-hop culture.
