Beta Film taps alpha sales exec

World Brief

Moritz von Kruedener, former Sony Pictures Television Intl. sales director for Germany, has joined Jan Mojto’s Beta Film, where he will oversee sales in German-speaking territories.

Von Kruedener, who oversaw the programming library at the insolvent Kirch Media before moving to Sony last year, will again be responsible for the German-language rights that were part of the vast Kirch catalog.

As part of the agreement, Beta formed Kineos, a 50-50 joint venture with Kirch Media to manage the titles.
