Exec's past campaigns include 'Mummy,' 'Fockers'
Universal Pictures has promoted Suzanne Cole to senior VP of media.
She will serve as chief strategist for media planning for film marketing campaigns and DVD and video releases. Cole reports directly to Adam Fogelson, president of Universal Pictures Marketing.
Cole joined U as VP of media in 1999 and has devised campaigns for more than 100 theatrical and homevid titles including “The Mummy,” “Erin Brockovich,” “Meet the Parents,” “Meet the Fockers,” the “American Pie” franchise and “The Bourne Identity.”
Prior to joining Universal, Cole worked at Polygram Filmed Entertainment and at Saatchi and Saatchi, overseeing media planning for MGM. She also served as an associate media director at DDB Entertainment, where her clients included Universal and Gramercy.
