WB options romantic comedy for sibling producing team

Warner Bros. has optioned upcoming novel romantic comedy “The High Impact Infidelity Diet” for the Team Todd producing tandem of Jennifer and Suzanne Todd.

Eric Pfeffinger and Lou Harry’s novel, to be published in June by Crown, revolves around three portly pals whose wives trick them into losing weight by promising them a night of bliss with a mysterious beauty.

Lynn Harris will oversee the project at WB, and a screenwriter will be tapped shortly.

The Todds recently completed the John Cusack-Diane Lane starrer “Must Love Dogs” for WB.

Pfeffinger is a playwright from Toledo, and Harry is a former standup comedian who is now the publisher of Indy Men’s Magazine in Indianapolis.
