Thesp seeks luck at ICM

Strathairn's 'Good' perf generating Oscar buzz

David Strathairn has signed with ICM.

Though Strathairn has made more than 50 films including “L.A. Confidential,” “Eight Men Out” and “City of Hope,” his career is poised to gain a second wind thanks to his critically acclaimed portrayal of Edward R. Murrow in the George Clooney-directed “Good Night, and Good Luck.”

Strathairn won the Venice Film Festival’s actor Osella Cup for his work in the film and was nominated for the Gotham IFP Awards. He is also generating Oscar buzz.

Thesp is currently filming “Sensation of Sight,” a film he’s producing with Madeline Ryan. He continues to be managed by Madeline Ryan.
