Storm feels ‘Foolish’

Stamp, Bacall, Huston star in pre-war London pic

Storm Entertainment has picked up worldwide sales rights to Julia Taylor-Stanley’s debut movie “These Foolish Things.”

Pic, which will have its world preem in the Cannes market, stars Terence Stamp, Lauren Bacall, Anjelica Huston and Joss Ackland, alongside young Brit thesps Andrew Lincoln, Zoe Tapper and David Leon. It’s a love story set in pre-war London about a young woman struggling to emulate her mother’s glittering career on the stage.

Financing came from Future Film, the Bank of Ireland and private investors.
