HOLLYWOOD — TV scribe Jeff Lowell has sold the romantic comedy pitch “Fetch” to Sony in a mid-six-figure deal for Neal Moritz’s Original shingle to produce.
Pic is described as “Look Who’s Talking” but with a dog instead of a baby.
Original’s Moritz and Ori Marmur are producing.
Doug Belgrad, Matt Tolmach and Jonathan Kadin are overseeing for Columbia.
Lowell’s writing credits include “The Drew Carey Show,” “Spin City” and “Just Shoot Me.” On the feature front, he recently sold his script “John Tucker” to Fox.
Moritz recently wrapped the actioners “Stealth,” starring Jamie Foxx and directed by Rob Cohen, and “XXX: State of the Union,” both for Sony.
