Carly Schroeder is set to star in the dolphin-themed family drama “Blue 14,” now shooting on Grand Bahama Island.
Thesp will play a 14-year-old who discovers she can communicate with dolphins. Katharine Ross plays her grandmother, and Adrian Dunbar (“Richard III”) plays her father, a dolphin researcher.
Pic reteams Schroeder with “Mean Creek” producer Susan Johnson, whose Braveart Films is co-producing with Michael Sellers’ Quantum Entertainment. Sellers (“Vlad”) is also directing the film, which he co-scripted with Wendell Morris.
