‘Rockwell’ going indie

Cedering Fox, Cassavetti to produce with Weber

Marco Weber’s Atlantic Streamline has acquired Thomas Thonson’s dark comedy spec “Rockwell.”

Pic follows a troubled teen who incites chaos while pursuing the car that he believes will solve all his problems.

Cedering Fox and Patrick Cassavetti, who will produce with Weber, brought the project to the company. Streamline’s executive VP Vanessa Coifman will executive produce.

Atlantic Streamline produces and independently finances feature films with mid-range budgets. The company is in production on “Butterfly, A Grimm Love Story” starring Keri Russell and Thomas Kretschmann. Atlantic Streamline previously produced “The Thirteenth Floor” and “Igby Goes Down.”

Fox is the founder of WordTheatre, a literary salon featuring readings by actors and authors of short fiction and other literary works. Fox has signed WordTheatre to a distribution deal with Harper Collins Audio.

Cassavetti produced “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,” “Emma” and “Intimacy.”
