Plexifilm has acquired all North American rights to the British Film Institute’s cult pic “Radio On.”

Helmed by Brit Chris Petit and produced by Wim Wenders, pic is about a factory worker who drives from London to Bristol, in a late ’70s Britain stricken by economic decline, to investigate his brother’s death. Among those he encounters is a garage mechanic (Sting). Pic is set for a June theatrical debut.
