NEW YORK — The Independent Film & Television Alliance will host its annual production conference June 16 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, with Kodak Digital Cinema general manager William Doeren skedded to give the keynoter.
Now in its seventh year, the one-day confab will feature two panels –“Are Producing & Exploiting Successful Movies Easier Challenges for Independents?” and “Using Production Incentives for Maximum Impact.”
Imagination Worldwide chairman-CEO Pierre David, who chairs IFTA’s producers committee, will moderate the first sesh. Cinetel Films prexy Paul Hertzberg will steer the second.
Scheduled panelists include Lions Gate Entertainment acquisitions, co-production and television prexy Peter Block, Crystal Sky Pictures prexy Benedict Carver, EPC post-production consultant Joe Fineman, Mandate Pictures prexy Joe Drake, Horwitz Entertainment Financial Services prexy Lewis Horwitz, PricewaterhouseCoopers partner Rick Rosas, IAC Film creative director Michael Ryan and Jon Gunn, director-producer-writer of “My Date With Drew.”
Troma Entertainment prexy Lloyd Kaufman will provide opening remarks.
