‘Eat’ opening fare at fest

Palm Beach event also screening 'Frankenstein'

The 10th annual Palm Beach Film Festival will kick off 11 world premieres with Salvador Litvak’s “When Do We Eat?” on April 14. The eight-day fest will be home to more than 150 movies before closing with “Checking Out” from helmer Jeff Hare.

Kudos will be presented for film, director, performance by an actor/actress and audience favorites in feature, documentary and short.

In addition, Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein” will be brought back to life as a part of the 10th Anniversary Birthday Bash.

Student filmmakers premiere their films April 19 as a part of the Student Showcase of Films.
