Duvall ‘Lucky’ at poker

Thesp cast in Hanson's latest effort

Robert Duvall has been dealt into poker-playing drama “Lucky You.”

Director Curtis Hanson begins shooting the pic March 23 in Las Vegas for Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures. Pic will be released in December.

Eric Bana stars as a poker player. Duvall will play his father, a seasoned pro card player who squares off against his son at the World Series of Poker. Drew Barrymore and Debra Messing also have been cast.

Hanson, Carol Fenelon and Denise DiNovi are producing, and Eric Roth and Hanson wrote the script. WB’s Kevin McCormick oversees the project.

Duvall next will be seen in another pic which finds him squaring off against a son. He stars with Will Ferrell as rival youth soccer coaches in the Jesse Dylan-directed comedy “Kicking & Screaming.”
