Birkin, Warhol retros set at Vienna

English-French actress-singer Jane Birkin, a retro on Andy Warhol presented by his longtime companion Gerard Malanga, and the city of Buenos Aires will be featured at the 43rd Vienna Film Festival, running Oct. 14-26.

The Viennale has lined up 291 pics from 48 countries, bookended by Woody Allen’s “Matching Point” and George Clooney’s “Good Night, and Good Luck.”

Birkin will appear for a retrospective of her cinematic work and to sing “Arabesque,” a new interpretation of chansons by her late partner, Serge Gainsbourg, accompanied by a group of North African musicians.
