Bacon’s ‘Loverboy’ to kick off Gen Art Film Fest

Kevin Bacon’s directorial debut, “Loverboy,” will kick off the 10th annual Gen Art Film Fest at the Ziegfeld Theater in Gotham on April 6. Film will be followed by a gala opening-night party at club the Park. Fest runs through April 12. Preemed at Sundance and starring Kyra Sedgwick, Matt Dillon and Marisa Tomei, film focuses on a woman who tries to rectify her unhappy childhood by having a child of her own. Seven features and seven shorts will unspool at the fest.
