What the state offers is transferable investor credit of 10% on films in the $300,000-$8 million range, 15% on films over $8 million; employment credit (state residents only) of 10% on $300,000-$1 million films, 20% on films over $1 million. On Jan. 1, the rules will be changed to a 25% investors rebate on all films that spend over $300,000 in the state — overall budget will no longer be included. Employment credit will be 10% for all films over $300,000 and will be transferable.
