Scribes find ‘Love’ for U

Falk, Ellis make Dunn's novel 'Big'

Universal has tapped scribe duo Pam Falk and Mike Ellis to adapt “The Big Love” for the Sommers Co.

Based on Sarah Dunn’s novel, romantic comedy follows the travails of a young woman after her fiance dumps her.

Stephen Sommers and Bob Ducsay will produce.

Falk and Ellis penned Jennifer Lopez pic “The Wedding Planner.” Other credits include “58th & 5th” (formerly known as “The Doctor and the Doorman”) at Working Title, teen book adaptation “The A-List” for U, “New York Giant” at Revolution and an adaptation of Aimee Bender tome “An Invisible Sign of My Own.”

Senior VP Holly Bario is supervising “Big Love” for U.
