New Line heads to altar

'Girl' scribes currently working on hellish wedding script

New Line is taking another trip down the aisle, purchasing an untitled romantic comedy pitch from Tapestry Films and scribes Brent Goldberg and David Wagner. Deal is worth mid- against high six figures.

Story concerns a woman forced to relive the wedding day from hell over and over again; the script is currently being written.

Richard Brenner, Cale Boyter and Magnus Kim are overseeing for New Line.

Tapestry’s Andrew Panay, Peter Abrams and Robert Levy are producing. Shingle is already working with New Line on “Wedding Crashers,” set for release in July.

Goldberg and Wagner (“The Girl Next Door”) are also scripting a remake of “All of Me” for the studio. They’re attached as co-producers on the new pic.

Scribes also worked with Tapestry on “Van Wilder.”
