Unfortunately there’s more mudslinging than comedy in the latest concert DVD from the self-proclaimed “Martin Luther Queen” of the gay right’s movement.

The politically minded comic, who chose the title “because things have gotten so bad you just want to hire an assassin,” rants about the biased media, President Bush, the Pope’s questionable sexuality and Laura Bush’s “coochie” in a familiar, sometimes funny perf. Extras include a making-of featurette that pours on the accolades for Cho — one scholar likens her to a modern day Lenny Bruce — short films and a belly dance segment with longtime underground Los Angeles denizen Pleasant Gehman.
