New Line Cinema has tapped former Universal exec Philip Goore veep of business affairs.
He’ll focus on the year-old branch specializing in productions and acquisitions for homevideo.
Division is headed by senior acquisitions veep Kevin Kasha, with whom Goore will work closely. He’ll report to exec veep of business affairs Judd Funk.
Goore will work on a variety of motion picture rights and talent deals, though he’ll specialize on video projects.
Goore was previously veep of business affairs for U Home Entertainment Production, its direct-to-video unit. While there, he was biz affairs exec in charge of “Bring It on Again” and the upcoming “American Pie 4.”
