HOLLYWOOD — Bravo is using new reality series “Sports Kids Moms & Dads” as a launchpad for its first line of Webisodes, airing eight segs exclusively on the Internet.
Webisodes will stream in conjunction with the eight-part TV skein. Both premiere June 1.
Produced by World of Wonder, “Sports Kids Moms & Dads” follows five families and the challenges they face in their kids’ athletic careers, with sports ranging from football and basketball to cheerleading, figure skating and horseback riding. Show is narrated by former tennis pro Tracy Austin.
Online installments will play out as a separate storyline, independent of the TV program but also starring a sports kid — a 15-year-old soccer player named Sonja. They will be available for download at www.bravotv.com.
