New digital media venture Bellrock Media has made its first hire, tapping online and wireless vet Ken Ng as exec VP and creative director.
Bellrock — headed by former Michael Ovitz tech aide and Quattro Media co-founder Peter Levin and Japanese media exec Hiroshi Nakata — is producing and investing in new-media content for mobile and broadband delivery. Investors in the new company include Intel and Japanese talent agency Yoshimoto Kogyo (Daily Variety, June 16).
Ng will oversee all production and design work for Bellrock both inhouse and through affiliates in which it invests.
He previously worked in a creative role at wireless gaming company Jamdata Mobile and for Disney Online.
