DTS adds Euro digital units

Digital Theater Systems widens biz in France, Italy

Digital Theater Systems has opened subsidiaries in Paris and Rome to serve its expanding European biz.

“We have reached a stage where local commitment is essential to support the growth of DTS’ business in these territories,” said Tony Nowak, managing director of DTS Europe.

The company says the new offices will offer exclusive transfer facilities, as well as support for the entire range of DTS services.

Agoura Hills -based DTS opened subsids in Hong Kong and Canada late last year and also has offices in the U.K. and Japan.

Best known for its theater sound systems, the company also offers digital image restoration through its Lowry Digital Images subsidiary.
