Dwight Caines has been promoted to executive veep, worldwide digital marketing, for Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group.
Caines is the lead creative executive and strategic planner for all aspects of digital campaign development and will work closely with studio marketing execs to develop global interactive campaigns for the Internet, mobile devices, gaming platforms and video-on-demand.
Caines has overseen the digital marketing of all Columbia Pictures as well as TriStar, Screen Gems and Revolution Studios films and worked on pics “Hitch,” “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” and “Black Hawk Down.”
He joined Sony in 1997 as director of market research. In 2000, he was commissioned with creating the digital marketing strategy department.
