Quattro has no qualms about consumer move

Prod'n company expands with acquisition

Management and production company Quattro Media is making a move into consumer products with the acquisition of J.A. Roth & Associates.

Roth toppers Russell Binder and Jay Roth are now in charge of new unit Quattro Consumer Products. They’ll continue to focus on licensing, merchandising and brand extension with existing clients such as Revolution Studios, Lions Gate Films, Stan Winston Studios and a number of Asian manufacturing firms.

Combined companies hope to offer a range of services including film, TV, interactive media, toys, apparel and corporate consulting under one roof.

Quattro Consumer Products will make its debut at the upcoming Gotham Licensing Show, June 21-23, with properties based on Revolution’s “Rent” and “Zoom’s Academy,” Lions Gate’s “Saw” franchise and classic “Reservoir Dogs.”

Quattro and Roth worked together for some time before the acquisition deal on projects for each other’s clients.
