Animation producer-distrib TV Loonland has appointed Olivier Dumont chief operating officer, succeeding David Ferguson, who recently retired at the end of a three-year contract.
Dumont will be in charge of strategies for the development, production and distribution of programming targeted at kids and families. He will work out of Paris and London, reporting to CEO Selma Kaeppel.
Dumont spent five years at production house SIP Animation, formerly Saban Intl. Paris, where his responsibilities as exec producer included adventure comedy skein “W.I.T.C.H.”
TV Loonland is publicly listed in Germany and on London’s Alternative Investment Market.
