Revolution Studios’ Daniel Ferleger, who’s been heading business and legal affairs, now also will oversee finance, physical production and administration.
Move, announced Monday, comes in the wake of last week’s disclosure that Revolution partner Rob Moore will become Paramount’s president of worldwide marketing, distribution and operations Aug. 1.
“Dan Ferleger has proven to be a tremendously talented executive over the past five years,” Revolution founder Joe Roth said. “By giving Dan these additional responsibilities, we are able to maintain continuity within the company.”
Ferleger joined the company in October 2000 after more than a decade at 20th Century Fox. Prior to his tenure at Fox, Ferleger worked in the entertainment law department at law firm Shea & Gold.
In its five years of operation, Revolution has released 30 films. Its equity deal at Sony expires at the end of 2006.
