Yes sez no to H.K. pay TV, eyes b’band

Yes Television (Hong Kong), a subsidiary of the U.K.’s Yes Television, is pulling the plug on its pay TV service beginning Monday.

However, it will keep Hong Kong as its base and shift its focus to its Yes TV Plus broadband service, which operates with Hutchison Global Communications and Hutchison PowerCom as its main partners.

The company also will continue to form partnerships with network operators in Asia.
