Stratton boards Jetflix Europe

Exec ankles Burbank for London posting

LONDON — Dene B. Stratton has been named chief financial officer, Jetix Europe, reporting to CEO Paul D. Taylor. Stratton, who is currently senior vice president, planning & control, at ABC in Burbank, California, will relocate to London; his appointment is effective Jan 1, 2005.

Stratton succeeds Martin Weigold, who announced plans to leave the company when his contract expires next March. Weigold has been CFO since 1999.

Jetix Europe, which runs 13 channels reaching more than 37 million subscribers in 58 countries, is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam Stock exchange. Formerly known as Fox Kids Europe, the company is majority owned by the Walt Disney Company.
