Morning Ratings Flash - Rick Kissell

A different unscripted program captured each of Monday’s hours in the key adults 18-49 demo, according to preliminary nationals from Nielsen, highlighted by season-high results for NBC’s “Fear Factor.”

Night’s top show, “Fear Factor,” scored a big 7.7 rating/19 share in adults 18-49 and 18 million viewers overall, towering over its competish in the 8 o’clock hour. From 9 to 10, drama “Las Vegas” (5.3/12 in adults 18-49, 13.6 million viewers) ran second, and week four of “Average Joe 2″ took the 10 o’clock hour (5.4/13 in adults 18-49, 11.1 million viewers).

Fox’s “My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance” (6.2/14 in adults 18-49, 13.3 million viewers) held up well in its second week, winning from 9 to 10 in all key demo measures. It built sharply on its lead-in from “The Simple Life” (3.7/9 in adults 18-49, 7.7 million viewers).

CBS, which went with an all-repeat lineup, ran third on the night in adults 18-49, led by a repeat of “Everybody Loves Raymond” at 9 (4.9/11 in adults 18-49, 15.6 million viewers overall). ABC placed fourth with a repeat of “Armageddon” (2.9/7 in adults 18-49, 7.3 million viewers).

Preliminary 18-49 averages for the night: NBC, 6.1/15; Fox, 4.9/12; CBS, 4.1/10; ABC, 2.9/7; WB, 2.2/5; UPN, 1.4/3.

In total viewers: NBC, 14.2 million; CBS, 13.3 million; ABC, 7.3 million; WB, 5.9 million; UPN, 3.5 million.
