Indian conglom Bennett & Coleman, publisher of local daily the Times of India, is venturing into television.
The group plans to launch three channels, focusing on entertainment, spirituality and business news, respectively.
Entertainment net, likely to be named Zoom, will offer diverse fare including music, fashion and lifestyle. At least one of the channels will go on air by July.
The company has already worked out a budget of $6.5 million for the project.
