Baseball competish attracts over 1,182,000 viewers
Superstation WGN Chicago enjoyed its highest ratings in almost five years with the Chicago Cubs vs. Philadelphia Phillies baseball game on Aug. 1, attracting more than 1,182,000 viewers.Last time the station attracted more viewers was a September 1999 Cubs vs. Red Sox game. In men age 18-24, the game was the third highest rated in the quarter century history of the superstation, with 464,000 in that demographic tuning in. Cubs broadcasts on WGN are up 22% in households from last year and are raking in an average of 612,000 adults per game, up 26% from last season.
