Jersey pic debuts in H'w'd

HOLLYWOOD – The Golden State welcomed “Garden State” for its bow last week at the Directors Guild.

Peter Sarsgaard said working with first-time helmer Zach Braff didn’t faze him. “The movie sucked,” he kidded. “No one’s gonna see it — it didn’t cost anything to make.”

Loyal “Scrubs” co-star Donald Faison disagreed. “If I were Siskel and Ebert, I would give it two thumbs up,” he told Variety. “If I were, you know, Variety, I would give it as many stars as possible.”
