Frosted about ‘Frozen’ curtain call

O'Byrne, Kurtz practice American cruelty on scribe Lavery

Holding no fewer than three bouquets, Brian F. O’Byrne and Swoosie Kurtz called Bryony Lavery to the Circle in the Square stage Wednesday night to take a bow for her Broadway debut play, “Frozen.”

Afterward at Ruth’s Steakhouse, the Brit called it “a piece of American cruelty. (Director) Doug Hughes and I decided beforehand that it was inappropriate for us to take a curtain call.”

So much for tradition.

“I’m calling my lawyers tomorrow,” laughed Lavery.
