HOLLYWOOD — With star Wesley Snipes nowhere in sight, Ryan Reynolds cut loose at Tuesday’s after-bash for “Blade: Trinity” at Level 3.
Reynolds, who plays a wisecracking vampire hunter, told Daily Variety he wasn’t able to get any laughs out of Snipes on the set. “I think he smiled once,” deadpanned Reynolds. “It made a cracking sound.”
Marvel’s Avi Arad said he was happy to have pic’s Jessica Biel and boyfriend Chris Evans (playing the Human Torch in Fox’s upcoming “Fantastic Four”) in the Marvel family.
But how does he feel about another member of the family, helmer-scribe David Goyer, going off to do DC Comics’ “Batman Begins”? “I’m a little bit possessive,” he admitted. But Goyer said Arad didn’t give him a hard time over Batman because “it’s the holy grail.”
