Arpa pours on kudo

Fest fetes Papazian, Hirsch

HOLLYWOOD — Arpa may be Armenian for “life-giving water source,” but at the 2004 Arpa Intl. Film Festival awards banquet Oct. 10 at the Sheraton Universal, it was the wine and champagne that flowed readily.

Cheech Marin bestowed lifetime achievement awards on Robert Papazian and James Hirsch, joking, “I’m presenting to my guys. If I do that, they’ll give me back the Polaroids they have of me.”

“Lost” producer Kevin Matossian helmed the five-day fest.
