HOLLYWOOD — Last week’s Village Theater preem of “13 Going on 30” had more than one guest muttering “Pretty Woman” — and they weren’t just referring to Jennifer Garner‘s comely look. The April 14 bow seemed to signal the “Alias” sleuth’s quantum leap into bigscreen stardom.
“This is her ‘Pretty Woman,’ ” one reveler opined. “After this, she’ll be offered everything.”
Director Gary Winick introduced the thesp to the aud as “my co-everything.” Garner, meanwhile, credited the director, producers and writers for making her look good.
“All the parts fell into place for me not to suck,” she said.
Among those at the Napa Valley Grille after-party were Sony’s Michael Lynton, Amy Pascal, Jeff Blake and Geoffrey Ammer; Revolution’s Joe Roth, Tom Sherak and Todd Garner; producers Donna Arkoff Roth, Susan Arnold and Gina Matthews; and writers Cathy Yuspa, Josh Goldsmith and Niels Mueller.
