Howard Hinderstein

Personal manager

Personal manager Howard Hinderstein died of multiple myeloma Nov. 24 in Tarzana, Calif. He was 79.

In the 1960s, Hinderstein managed artists including comedienne Totie Fields, Bert Convy, Tommy Leonetti, writer Arnie Kogen and Fred Grandy. In the 1980s and 90s, he became a television producer working with Goodson-Todman Productions and the game shows “Tattletales” and “Match Game.”

He is survived by a daughter, two grandsons, a brother and a sister.
