Exec previously o'saw development, prod'n at Turner

Former TNT programming exec veep Julie Weitz has joined Endeavor as head of the agency’s TV movie division.

Weitz spent seven years at Turner, where she oversaw the development and production of all of TNT’s series and longform efforts, including last year’s Emmy-winning William H. Macy starrer “Door to Door.”

Weitz said she hopes to strengthen Endeavor’s presence in the telepic packaging biz. Prior to her arrival, the agency hadn’t had a formal TV movie department.

“My priority is to get our clients out there in the TV movie world,” she said. “Between cable and broadcast, there is a real variety of longform projects out there.”

Prior to TNT, Weitz spent four years running the longform TV packaging division for ICM.
