“Life as We Know It” co-exec producer Don Todd has landed two projects at ABC, including a vehicle for “The Station Agent” star Peter Dinklage.
As part of his overall deal at Touchstone TV, Todd has reteamed with “Life” exec producer Stu Bloomberg to produce an untitled laffer for Dinklage. Project, to be written by Todd, would star Dinklage as an unconventional teacher.
Bloomberg and Todd are developing the project as a hybrid mix of single- and multi-camera elements. Bloomberg has been looking to find a vehicle for Dinklage since last season, when the thesp signed a talent holding deal with Touchstone TV.
Meanwhile, Todd is also developing the drama “Soccer Moms,” about housewives who investigate suburban crimes. Todd is partnered with producer Marla Ginsburg.
Todd is in the second year of a two-year pact at Touchstone. His other credits include “I’m With Her,” “The Hughleys,” “Brother’s Keeper” and “Dave’s World.”
