THX grows by 3 execs

Ng named chief technology officer; Kasrel, Sfarti tapped as VPs

Entertainment technology company THX has expanded its management team with three new hires.

Sheau Ng has been named chief technology officer, Bruce Kasrel tapped VP of marketing and services and Adrian Sfarti appointed veep of systems and network engineering.

Ng is the former chief architect of ATI’s digital television division. He has also held senior engineering positions at Philips Semiconductor, Toshiba and RCA Labs.

Kasrel was most recently director of product marketing for video-on-demand firm SeaChange Intl. Before coming to SeaChange, Kasrel served as senior analyst at Forrester Research.

Sfarti was previously veep of engineering at Kwill, a developer of encryption and watermarking technology for the DVD industry.
