MediaCorp expands, shuffles execs

Seow upped to managing director

SINGAPORE — Dominant broadcaster MediaCorp has reorganized its senior staff.

MediaCorp News CEO Shaun Seow becomes group managing director of MediaCorp News, MediaCorp TV12 and Group Communications. Seow will oversee news, covering TV, radio and newspapers. He remains a director and editorial advisor of MediaCorp Press.

Woon Tai Ho moves from CEO of MediaCorp TV12 to replace Seow as CEO MediaCorp News. Woon will be responsible for content strategies in news, documentaries and info-educational content.

Philip Koh, acting CEO, will be CEO of MediaCorp Publishing. James Yip, currently acting CEO, will be confirmed as CEO of MediaCorp Radio.

Alice Tan, senior VP of network programming and promotions at MediaCorp TV Channel 5, is upped to CEO of MediaCorp TV12, assuming responsibility for driving Malay/Indonesian content production for the regional market.
