Exec will also serve on executive committee

Veteran entertainment, producer, executive and attorney Bill Immerman has been appointed senior exec VP and chief administrative officer of the rapidly growing Yari Film Group.

He will also serve on the company’s executive committee, which sets key company policies and strategies for the group, comprising Bob Yari’s Stratus Film Co., Bull’s Eye Entertainment, El Camino Pictures, Bob Yari Prods. and Syndicate Films Intl.

Immerman most recently was senior exec VP-chief operating officer of Crusader Entertainment until its merger with Walden Media this year.

He has established several indie production companies. He began his career as a deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County before becoming associate counsel with American Intl. Pictures. He subsequently joined 20th Century Fox in 1972 as VP of biz affairs and rose to senior VP of the studio’s feature division. “The Yari Film Group has grown exponentially over the last two years,” said Yari. “While Neil (Sacker) will continue as COO and the group’s lead negotiator on all business and transactional activities, Bill’s expertise in meshing legal and business structures is vital for us at this busy juncture.”
