Exec to o'see campaigns for upcoming films

Jamie Geller Hawtof has joined 20th Century Fox as senior VP of publicity.

She’ll report to Jeffrey Godsick, executive VP of marketing.

Hawtof will oversee publicity campaigns for upcoming Fox films “I, Robot,” “Catch That Kid,” “Welcome to Mooseport,” “Man on Fire,” “Garfield” “Flight of the Phoenix,” “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and “Alien vs. Predator.”

Godsick called Hawtof “a top PR professional” with a “formidable combination of experience and creativity.”

She will work in concert with senior VP of publicity Carol Sewell.

Previously, Hawtof held senior publicity positions at MGM/UA, Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group and praisery Clein & White.

She has spearheaded publicity campaigns for films such as “Jerry Maguire,” “Air Force One,” “My Best Friend’s Wedding” and “As Good as It Gets” as well as representing entertainment corporations and celebs.

Most recently, she was a consultant to Fox Searchlight Pictures, pinch-hitting for Searchlight PR topper Breena Camden while she was on maternity leave.
